My walkway

This is the first time I worked with my neighbours. I was commissioned by a German magazine to photograph my London.
Rather than capturing more expected imagery about pubs and markets, I decided to document my walkway.

I decided to do this because I noticed that people, once I had moved to the Packington, suddenly showed a certain hesitance to visit me.
I found friends sitting in their cars outside with locked doors and wild ideas about what would happen to them, whilst waiting for me.
Taxi drivers only dropped me off outside estate boundaries and delivery drivers only delivered take-aways,
if I came to meet them a street away from the estate.

While some of the concerns weren’t entirely wrong, I wanted to share a rarely seen and softer side of the estate, namely its people, my lovely neighbours, and its beautiful design.
